Pointstreak 5050 to demonstrate solution at PACnet Community Conference

Irvine, CA - Paciolan, a wholly owned subsidiary of Comcast-Spectacor and the leading provider of venue enablement, ticketing, fundraising and marketing technology solutions, has announced an expanded partnership with Pointstreak 5050, a wholly owned subsidiary of Pointstreak Sports Technologies Inc. and the leader in event based electronic 50/50 raffle systems.

Paciolan clients will be afforded the opportunity to utilize the Pointstreak 5050 electronic raffle system for all events to assist the organization in their fundraising activities to benefit their foundations or charitable initiatives. In addition, this partnership will enable clients already utilizing Paciolan’s automated ticketing solution to easily integrate with Pointstreak 5050’s platform.  Pointstreak 5050 was extremely successful with several NCAA institutions in 2013 and is now becoming a staple for their fundraising efforts.

“We are very excited to share the Pointstreak 5050 fundraising platform with our clients” said Paciolan Chief Executive Officer Dave Butler, “Pointstreak 5050’s technology provides a truly innovative way for many of our partners to generate revenue in support of their fundraising initiatives. Not only are 50/50 raffles a great fundraising mechanism, but they also add to the fan’s game day experience.”

The Pointstreak 5050 system enables raffle tickets to be sold to fans via mobile handheld devices and fixed kiosks with the jackpot totals updated and displayed in real-time on scoreboards and video monitors throughout the venue.  Integrating with the Paciolan automated ticketing platform will allow fans to pre-purchase their 50/50 tickets when purchasing their tickets to an upcoming game, increasing the jackpot before the event even starts.

Scott Secord, President/CEO of Pointstreak Sports Technologies Inc. stated, “The growth and fan excitement surrounding the Pointstreak 5050 platform has been tremendous.  The presence that Paciolan has in the ticketing space, especially in the collegiate market, is impressive and the prospect of working alongside them to bring the Pointstreak 5050 system to their clients is truly exciting.”

In addition to the partnership, Pointstreak 5050 will be demonstrating their fundraising technology at Paciolan’s annual community conference, PACnet, which takes place February 9th – 12th in Newport Beach, California. The proceeds of the raffle will support the One Man Foundation, founded by the PACnet closing keynote speaker Bonner Paddock. The One Man Foundation supports programs that serve children with disabilities in Orange County and across the globe and promotes the idea that any one person can make a difference if they dedicate themselves to look beyond their own personal limits.
